Enhanced Oil Recovery
ClearStack has granted ITS Engineered Systems an exclusive worldwide licensing right, with
the exception of India and China, for the use of the AG-CS technology with Once Through
Steam Generators (OTSG) for Enhanced Oil Recovery applications. It has also granted ITS
a non-exclusive worldwide licensing right, with the exception of India and China, for the use
of the ClearGas technology with Once Through Steam Generators (OTSG) for Enhanced Oil
Recovery applications and for other oilfield applications.
A 50 million Btu/hr steam generator is now being designed for use with the AG-CS system.
ClearStack, ITS and Codaco Engineering are participating in this project. The gasifier
design is completed and process flow and piping and instrumentation diagrams are being
developed. The first project system will be placed in operation in a West Texas heavy oil
recovery application.
